Here is the quilt I call Turtle Bay at Night "moms doing her job". It is interesting how using a flash will make such a difference in the apparent coloring that shows. It was a fun quilt to do and I had to get it out of my system since it had been on my brain for quite a while to use the technique. Hopefully the professional photographer can get a better pic of it. But perhaps it just isn't worthy of being photographed. it is dark but that is because of the way it is created. Shiva paintsticks on quilted fabric. Fun stuff, kind of smelly since it is oil based.Saturday, July 4, 2009
Flashing can be fun
