Sometimes I just need to sew something,...anything.

Tada! these are "green" shopping bags made from rice bags.  A quick and easy project to recycle and reuse and kind of fun to do when you just need to sew something and make it quick.  You can do these out of dogfood bags also but those you have to wash first!  I don't have a dog so rice is it.  The piecefulkwilter blog has instructions.

Also, here are my latest pair of earrings with my newest favorite technique.  So Fun!  It looks like a mini quilt and one of the squares looks like a mini hurricane.
